Have you made New Year's resolutions? Are you resolved to do things better?
I am actually starting this new year with a nasty flu bug!!My health has been improving so much over the last 15 months that getting sick has kinda thrown me off!!
That being so, I have decided to do some very deep and personal work. I have been focused on getting well, but also on “getting better”.
Personal growth is an important part of life that often gets moved to the back burner. Living life and simply getting things done is usually our default mode. So, this sick time has made me slow down and look at a few areas a little closer.
My husband and I enjoy the show Shark Tank (when we actually have time to watch TV!). The other night we saw a very compelling episode that really made me ponder what we are doing and why we are doing what we are doing.
There were 2 young men that have crafted very high quality golf putters. I know very little about golf but their message went way above golfing. They came onto the stage dressed in old fashioned golf attire and began talking about the legacy of golf. They spoke about the skill and craftsmanship that has been lost in the development of golf equipment. Very quickly the investors saw that the putters these young men have created as top of the line, like none they have seen, 1st in class, etc. Compliments flew, then all of a sudden things took a turn.
Sales were not fantastic in the United States but much better in Japan and Scotland and the investors all wanted to know why that was. The young men shared that they had taken their putters to the PGA and everyone was very impressed. They also had gone to Japan and Scotland and those folks weren't just impressed, they bought!! And bought a lot!
The reason for the difference in how these countries received these putters was astounding to me! In the US they were told that they would have to give a putter to every single big name in the PGA and wait for one of them to endorse it. In Japan and Scotland they did not see the need for celebrity endorsement because they could clearly see and appreciate the quality and integrity in these well crafted putters for themselves.
It saddens me to think that in our culture we have lost the ability to see quality and integrity unless someone with celebrity status points it out!
Why have we become people that value the opinions of others more than what we know to be true ourselves?
And why are the people we trust the most celebrities!?
We have walked away from the desire to build something made to last and traded it for something flashy. We have lost the idea of "legacy".
Most of you know that we got involved with Touchstone Essentials a little over a year ago. The reason we did is because we saw for ourselves that this is a company of the highest quality and integrity. We didn't see the need to wait for some celebrity to find out about it and then endorse it for us to be involved.
Touchstone Essentials is a lot like these two young men that have created these putters. Touchstone Essentials is in the business of creating the most comprehensive, high quality, top of the line, best-in class, whole-food health solutions available anywhere!! They are also passionate about impacting the world! Creating and leaving a legacy of health!
In the 15 months that we have been connected with Touchstone Essentials, we have seen people leave for more flashy ideas. Ideas that compromise the integrity they could clearly see with Touchstone Essentials. Ideas that gather hype and celebrity. Ideas that lack the foundational truth about purity and wholeness.
We know that desperation often leads to compromise. Building something to impact the world and creating a legacy takes time. In the supplement world particularly, there is a solid wall of lies that must be torn down before a legacy of purity and truth can be built.
We have decided to lock arms with Eddie Stone and his team at Touchstone Essentials, knowing that it is going to take some time for people to learn and understand what is really going on in the supplement world.
We also understand that finding like-minded people to help do this work and share this vision takes time. We have time...Certainly time for something this important.
What is important to you? If you are reading this and thinking that you would like to be involved with something big, something that has the ability to impact millions for many years to come, something that really does matter, maybe you should consider Touchstone Essentials.
No hype, little flash, lots of truth, and amazing life changing results is what Touchstone Essentials is all about. We focus on training and team building while sharing the truth about supplements with people that want to know. No high pressure stalking tactics, just caring and sharing.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and for considering how you decide to buy something. Do you look for quality then trust yourself when you believe you find it or do you wait for celebrities to sell you? Professional endorsement is fine but should not be the only standard we trust. Through personal growth you can become the person you trust the most!!
Even though right now I am sitting on my bed with a fever, cough, and sore throat I know that 2015 is going to be an amazing year for me! I am committed to personal growth to be healthy, well, and better! Nothing can sway we from this commitment, how about you?
Have a Happy, and Health-Filled New Year!!
Do you like ice cream?
I sure do like ice cream - even though, now a'days, it's a pretty rare treat.
Point is, I like it. My favorite is orange sherbet with dark chocolate chips; yum!
I had lunch with a friend the other day and we spent some time catching up. Part of catching up is talking about the business we are both involved in.
We both shared our discouragement with trying to get our friends to take a look at what we are doing.
We are advocates for health and we are entrepreneurs. Nothing weird or scary, just advocates for health and entrepreneurs.
If I opened an ice cream shop, don't you think I would want to tell everyone I know that we were opening an ice cream shop?
Wouldn't it be reasonable for me to want everyone I know to come and try our ice cream, maybe enjoy some samples, and ultimately buy all of their ice cream from us?
I think these are reasonable expectations when starting a new business.
Before the entire world hears about you, your first goal is to share your new venture with your friends; partly because you know that your friends will be honest about the quality of your ice cream and help you make some adjustments before the masses start coming!
Now hold on. Don't get too excited...we are NOT opening an ice cream shop!
Like I said, we are advocates for health and we are entrepreneurs. We have been doing this for almost a year now and, to be honest, most of our friends - old and new - have pretty much ignored our requests to take a look at our business.
I have a few guesses about why this is so:
First of all, network marketing - at least for us - is not about the hunt or the pressure. For us, it's about caring and sharing.
We got involved with the company we did because we have a very strong passion for health and wellness. This care certainly extends to the people we know, care about, and trust.
Secondly, no one looks like a walking dollar sign to us. People look like friends to us. Some are fine in their life and health, but others are broken, sick and hurting, and we believe we have some solutions.
This is a pretty big topic of conversation for us because we are in the building phase of our business, but, believe me, we still have lots of other stuff going on!
Warren's ministry schedule is very full, and I still have a home to run and a family to care about. Our business was not even on the radar in Hawaii when our daughter got married.
Here are a few more reasons why I think you might be ignoring me:
Also, I really would like to know what your thoughts are about my endeavor.
I see some of the things you all are doing on Facebook and I research what I can to find out what's going on with you. I think if you asked me to look at something you were promoting, I would!
An honest, “I'm not interested,” or “I don't have time,” or “I don't wanna re-connect,” would be easier to deal with than no response.
If we didn't believe whole-heartedly in this company and this line of health products, we certainly wouldn't waste your time with it because we wouldn't waste our time with it.
The number one reason, beyond our own healing, that we are doing this is to share possible healing products, solutions, and ideas with people we know and care about.
So, I just wanted to clear the air and tell you that we care about you, your family, and your health.
We don't have yummy ice cream for you to come and try, but what we do have could be a lot more important and of much greater valuable.
If what I have shared here has made our motive a little more clear, please click on the links below and let me know what you think.
I really am interested in your thoughts. We live in a world where communicating digitally really is the easiest and most common way, so please don't think my effort is less heart-felt than in-person.
If you look at what we are doing and think there is absolutely nothing of value for you, let me know and I'll understand completely. However, if something resonates with you like it did with us, let me know that as well.
If you are new here, I look forward to getting to know you. If you are already a friend, I love you and look forward to connecting again soon!!!
Have a happy and health-filled day,

Email me to share your thoughts - please?
Can I be honest? Hope so - cuz it's kinda what I do best :)
First of all, among other things, we are network marketers.
We joined Touchstone Essentials last October, and haven't regretted our decision once.
What I want to be honest about is what this means to you, our friends.
Network marketing tends to have a reputation of being about people begging, hounding, and chasing people down - especially family and friends!
I think there are still some people doing things that way, but we are not those kind of folks.
We got involved with this company for a number of reasons. Of course we want to share it with people that we care about, because we believe in it so much and believe the company and its products really are the best available.
However, we do not want anyone to get involved at any level because we have somehow made you feel like you have to!!
So, what do we want from you, our friends?
We just want you to be patient with us while we build our business.
We would love it if you would be somewhat interested in what we are doing, just as we are interested in whatever it is you are doing.
We would also greatly appreciate you understanding that we made this decision based on some very sound facts after a great deal of research, and if you would respect this decision we have made.
On top of that, we would be honored if you look at what we are doing or would consider recommending us to someone else you know.
Mostly, though, just remain our friends as we build our business, knowing we do not expect any of you to get involved.
The bulk of our job right now is looking for people that are open to looking at opportunities for better health, access to income generation, and being part of the growingest industry in the world.
We certainly don't want to work with people that feel pushed or coerced into doing something.
We simply want and need to find people who have an entrepreneurial spirit, people who love to take risks because they understand that some risk-taking is often worth the risk.
We are looking for people that are self-motivated and coachable.
Many people that have tried network marketing or have thought about it but didn't think they could do it, agree that the #1 reason is lack of support and/or training.
We have amazing upline support, continue to learn and grow ourselves, and we are determined to do whatever is necessary to make it available to everyone who partners with us as well.
We can't know if this business model might be something that could benefit you or not, unless we ask. We do know that if you give the products a seriously look, you will love them!
Some bottom-line questions to help your sort through this:
If you answered "Yes" to any of the above questions, would you do both you and us a favor by taking a look at what we are doing?
If you answered "No,", perhaps you know someone that is looking for just such an opportunity?
If your answer is "No," or "Not now," no problem! We still love you and want the best for you!!
However, if you say "Yes," and decide to join us, we promise to give you our best and help you succeed!!
This truly is the BEST home-based business on the planet!
Have a happy & health-filled day!
Truth Matters - Touchstone
OK; this may not be THE truth about Network Marketing, just my truth about it.
It's not a new business, but it has changed some over the years. Our first experiences with Network Marketing was in the 80's, and the idea is still as powerful today as it was then. I think the only real difference is the many added ways to do it because of technology.
One of the things that hasn't changed much is people's misconception about it. Most people have heard of Network Marketing and know someone that has tried it. The fact that so many people have had some experience in Network Marketing is certainly part of the reason for some of the misconception.
It's called NetWORK Marketing and not NOTwork Marketing.
When you have a business model that really is a level playing field for anyone that wants to give it a try and the investment to get involved is relatively low, it's bound to attract some people that don't take it seriously. Those people say they tried and it didn't work. But, I think the truth is that they weren't really given the tools to try it well and so it seems to not work.
All things with the potential to change a life will attract people that really just want something for nothing. That certainly isn't what Network Marketing is about at all.
This business model has the power to enable people to work for themselves, gain confidence and actually make a living working for themselves.
However, all of this only happens if people are helping other people.
There is also a real element of personal growth that is the core to being successful! If you aren't growing, chances are pretty good your business will not grow.
We have been with Touchstone Essentials for 9 months now, and have already seen some people come and go. Varied reasons, of course, but the lesson in that for us is this: you must find a product that fits into your life well, and a company whose mission and vision you can lock arms with.
If someone introduces you to a network marketing business and tells you that you will make big money fast and easy, don't simply believe them and then be convinced that Network Marketing is a scam if you are not financially independent in your first year.
Some people get involved and grow quickly because of their circle of influence, but, for most of us, it takes time and work.
The truth is that working your business on a part-time basis for 1-2 years can create full time income.
And, in 3-5 years, you can become financially independent. Those numbers seem realistic and doable to us because so many people have done it and are doing it.
If you think Network Marketing might be right for you and you are wondering why we landed on Touchstone Essentials, let us share our “why” with you.
There are some significant truths about Touchstone Essentials and the timing of it in our world today that make it the only viable option for us.
I don't know if the timing is right for you, but you really won't know until you take a peek!!
Check us out at www.TruthMatters.MyTouchstoneEssentials.com, jot down your questions, and let's get together for coffee!! That's the beauty of Network Marketing!! (If you are not in our area, we can share a coffee over Skype - that, too, is part of the beauty of Network Marketing...you can have an international business, right from your own home!)
So, let's connect and see about locking arms together to change our world and change our fortune - what do you say?
Have a happy and health-filled day!
Everyone deserves "the Good Inside," and, yes, "Purity is Possible."
