55 miles an hour is somewhat slow for some of us that remember when freeway speeds were 75 most every where. 55 dollars isn't a ton of money anymore, but 55 pieces of pie is a lot!!
Last December was my 55th birthday and my husband thought it was so funny to tell people that I had finally made it to highway speed!
I google searched people age 55 and it went from one end to another. I guess I was trying to figure out if I look older than my age or pretty good for my age. There was no baseline. The way we look really isn't a good gauge of age.
As I thought about my age, I couldn't help but marvel. Sure, I have a few wrinkles and a few rolls. I have occasional aches and pains and I don't have the strength I used to have. My balance is a little questionable and my bones are kinda weak.
But, when I think about all that this amazing body has done and given to me, I can't help but marvel.
This body has been breathing for 20,075 days. This body has taken approximately 157,680,000 steps, in every state except Alaska and in 2 different countries. This body carried, birthed and fed 2 other human beings. This body has survived 25 different broken bones. This body has spoken millions of words to thousands of people. These are all amazing things that deserve my respect.
Do you feel old for your age? Do you give your body and self the proper respect for all you've done, seen and accomplished or are you focused on the lack?
Surrounding ourselves with people that feel like we do, think like we do, and want to move forward is the key to staying positive about where we are today. Forgiving and celebrating are both necessary for balanced happiness and health.
Go to our contact page and get me your email address so that we can encourage each other. With all I have seen and survived, I have tons to share! For all of the trials I can honestly say that I am happier than I thought I would be today! You can be too!! It happens in community and community today can be near or far.
Until we meet again, have a happy health-filled day!
Everyone deserves "the Good Inside," and, yes, "Purity is Possible."
