DARE TO DREAM IS NOT A CLICHE!!
What did you imagine your life would be like? Is today even close to what you thought it would be? If it is, how did you get here? If not, how did you get here?
I am not exactly where I thought I would be, but not unhappy about where I am.
The one constant for me is my dream!! I have always had a dream. A dream of hope and goodness. My circumstances haven't always been full of hope and goodness, but the dream has always been there.
So, do you know what your dream is? Have you paid attention to the deep deep sense of destiny? Our deep dreams that don't go away are sometimes hard to hear or understand.
Because these dreams are God-given, they are not always spelled out. They require a certain level of faith. I am going to attempt to describe my dream and how I've hung onto it all of these years. In doing so, my hope is that you will begin to recognize your dream or simply be encouraged to allow yourself to dream again!
We aren't all that different. We have lots of different situations in life, but most things effect people the same. Pain, loss and fear all make it difficult to keep dreaming. I have had my share of pain, loss and fear, believe me!! Through it all, even when things were the hardest, I have had a sense of it all being for a reason. When things have a purpose, even hard things, they are a little easier to endure.
My dream has always been to be able to be a real encouragement to others. I hope that doesn't sound self-righteous. Nothing makes me happier than being able to share something wonderful I have with someone else. Do you know that feeling? For me a dream that is completely self focused is hard to hold onto. If what I am working for, dreaming of, and hoping for is only for me, it's easy to give up. I can make adjustments to be happy and fulfilled even if my dream falls short. However, if I keep my eyes on the heart of my dreams, which is to share with others, I have a much stronger sense of enduring.
Don't get me wrong, my dream has some self good in it as well. Let me share my “dream board” with you.
My dream is to help women reach a level of success that have not allowed themselves to dream of, YET!! I want to be as healthy as possible, as outta debt as possible and I want to be able to put my toes in the sand often!!
What does your “dream board” look like? Have you made one? Why not make one today or dig out the one you have but have lost sight of? Today is a good day to awaken that dream inside!
Dream, hope, faith, encouragement, love, share, health are all words that should drive our days!!
Have a health-filled day!
Everyone deserves "the Good Inside," and, yes, "Purity is Possible."
